String is a datatype describing a character string with a maximum length that depends on the exact configuration of the string. As iVectorConnect uses SQL Server, the absolute maximum length it is possible to define a string is exactly 231 - 3 characters long (that is 2,147,483,645 characters).
This is the price to the customer of a component or part of a component not including any deductions. For example, in the property search response, the subtotal field in the room type node is the price of the room without taking account of the discount, which is another field in this node. The total field in this case is the subtotal minus the discount.
