Your first call
Why are my login credentials not returning the expected response?
If the login credentials you've used are not recognised, you will get the following response
<ResponseStatus>
<ReturnStatus>
<Success>false</Success
<Exceptions>
<Exception>Not logged in successfully.</Exception>
<Exception>Could not find login credentials for TestLogin/TestPassword</Exception>
</Exceptions>
</ReturnStatus>

If you get this response, check the following and try again
You are using the correct XML structure. The structure should match the example
Your login is spelled correctly
Your password is spelled correctly
All parts of the call are in the correct case, as the fields are case sensitive
If you still do not get a successful response or receive a different error, please contact your administrator.
I have clicked the Property File download link on the iVectorConnect homepage but nothing is happening, how do I get the file?
The property download file may take a few hours to generate. Please check your email over the next few hours to see if the file has been sent and check your junk mail or spam folders.
If you have not received an email after 6 hours, please contact an administrator to investigate the issue.
If my request is in the correct format, how can I confirm why the web service is not returning results?
First, confirm you have the correct format by sending the request to the API and checking that the response returns a return status of <Success>true</Success>. You can test the format of the call by sending the request online through our demo API. If it is not in the correct format, compare it to our published schema for that call. Fields within the request are case sensitive.Â
If the request is in the correct format, next verify whether you have deduped your properties. For more information on deduping and how to dedupe properties, please see our iVector documentation.
If you think the properties have correctly been deduped, next check the supplier site directly to confirm that the dates, locations and search criteria you are using do have availability. It is possible that the suppliers do not have availability that fit your search and so no results would be expected.
If you are still receiving no results for a query that you think should be returning results and returns results for one of your third party suppliers, contact your administrator who can get in touch with their intuitive contact.
